rensburg.nl processes as little personal data as possible. This statement explains which data we process, why, and what rights you have.

Who is responsible

The administrator of rensburg.nl is the data controller for the personal data processed via this website. For all privacy questions, reach us at info@rensburg.nl.

Which data we process

• Contact form and email: name, email address and the content of your message.
• Appraisal and consignment: the details you send about yourself and the work, including photographs and provenance information.
• Purchase in the shop: name, address and payment details required for the contract, delivery and invoicing.
• Technical data: the hosting provider’s server log records IP addresses for security and fault analysis.

Purposes and legal bases

We use your data to answer your question, carry out an appraisal, conclude and perform a consignment or purchase agreement, and to comply with legal obligations such as fiscal retention requirements. The legal basis is respectively your consent, the legitimate interest in answering enquiries, the performance of a contract, or a legal obligation.

Retention periods

We keep correspondence no longer than necessary for handling and follow-up. Data from agreements and invoices is kept as long as fiscal legislation requires (usually seven years). Data about offered works may be kept longer in the oeuvre register, without the provider’s personal data, unless you agree otherwise.

Sharing with third parties

We never sell your data. We share data only with parties needed for our services — hosting and email provider, payment and shipping partners for a purchase — and where possible under a processing agreement.

Cookies

This site uses only functional cookies needed for the site to work and to remember your language choice. No tracking or advertising cookies are placed.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Send your request to info@rensburg.nl; we respond within four weeks. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS) and restricted access to correspondence and files.
