Terms and conditions. 1 Who we are: Rensburg.nl is published by Florametric BV, Burgwal 21, 8261 EN Kampen, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce 58407146, VAT NL853026695B01, info@rensburg.nl. Visits by appointment only. 2 Scope: these terms apply to every offer on rensburg.nl and every resulting contract; mandatory consumer law prevails where it differs. 3 The offer: every work is a unique item, can be ordered only once, and is shown in photographs of the actual work; minor colour differences between screen and paper are not a defect. Dimensions are of the sheet unless stated otherwise. “Price on request” is an invitation to enquire, not an offer; the contract then arises from a written quotation. Obvious errors do not bind us. 4 Formation: the contract arises when we confirm your order by e-mail, stating the work, register number, price, shipping and payment instructions. We reserve the work for seven days from that confirmation. 5 Withdrawal: as a consumer you may cancel within fourteen days of receipt; the full rules, deadlines, costs and model form are on the Returns and withdrawal page, which forms part of these terms. Works framed to your own specification are excluded; the unframed work is not. 6 Prices: euros, final prices including VAT. The EU margin scheme for works of art and second-hand goods applies: VAT is included but not shown separately and is not deductible. Shipping is stated separately before checkout. Outside the EU, import duties and local taxes are at your expense. 7 Payment: in advance by bank transfer unless another method is offered; term seven days. The work remains our property until payment is credited in full. 8 Delivery and risk: we ship within two working days of receiving payment, insured and in museum packaging. Delivery times and rates are on the Shipping and delivery page. We deliver within thirty days of the contract; if we cannot, you may cancel free of charge and we refund within fourteen days. Risk passes when you, or a third party you name who is not the carrier, physically receive the work. Collection in person is free by appointment. 9 Conformity, condition and authenticity: we deliver what we describe. Each work is an original on paper or canvas from the first half of the twentieth century and carries the traces of its age: slight discolouration, edge creases and the occasional foxing spot belong to a hundred-year-old sheet and are not defects. Anything affecting the image — tears, water stains, restorations, trimming — is stated with the work. Each work is recorded in our catalogue register under a register number, with provenance as documented. Your statutory rights on non-conformity are unaffected. 10 Complaints: report within a reasonable time of discovery, preferably within two months, to info@rensburg.nl; we acknowledge within two working days and answer substantively within fourteen days. Unresolved disputes may go to the competent court or to the European ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. 11 Governing law: Dutch law; disputes before the Overijssel district court, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to bring the case before the court of your domicile. 12 Export of cultural goods: works over one hundred years old may require an export licence outside the EU. We apply for it and bear the cost; delivery may take longer and we will tell you before shipping.
